Ruby Moon x Beach Collection

Summer is just around the corner and Ruby Moon has you covered… literally! When the trucker hat brand Ruby Moon approached me and asked me to shoot their newest collection of beach themed hats, I immediately was bursting with excitement and creative inspiration! As soon as I saw the hats designed with the tagline “board meeting,” I had a clear vision of surfer girls on the SoCal coast coming in from a surf and climbing back up the cliffs with their boards, and doing it all in Ruby Moon hats! One aspect I love about working with Ruby Moon is that they fully trust my creative concepts and execution! After the brand approved my vision and assisting mood board, I had full creative liberty to style, creative direct, and of course photograph and edit the images to take them from the idea in my head to a real life finished gallery! These images will be perfect for creating that quintessential California summer feel on their social media, website, and other marketing platforms as they launch their new beach collection! The locations for this project ranged from the Malibu peer, the Point Loma Cliffs, to even the bay in Pacific Beach. The desire is that although there are many different settings, lighting conditions, models and locations, there is still a cohesive tie between all of the images that comes from my creative style and vision for this project.
